Celebrate!!
The kiddies played the day away and then sat down to a glorious feast for dinner. Afterwards playing a little Wii before bed. Then all the kids snuggled deep down in their beds. While Mom and Dad watched a few tv shows or two.. until midnight or two. To all a Good Night! or Good Morning! Have a wonderful New Year !!

Being Thankful
I have many things to be truly grateful for in my life. Here are some of the reasons why.......
For those crazy moments in life when all you can do is smile and say everything will be alright.
The sweet and tender moments in my life....
The silly and squishy moments in life ....
And of course those moments when all you can do
is laugh and remember why life is truly a great thing
and how blessed you are to share those moments with
the ones you love..
Happy Thanksgiving!

Chase's Thanksgiving Comic
Chase did a Thanksgiving Comic at school. I thought it was very cute!!
The picture didn't turn out very clear.
So I decided to type out the words and captions
for those of us who have to squint to see the pictures.
Chase's Thanksgiving Comic
1st pic Pilgrim lady picking berries
caption reads
La! La! na! na!
2nd pic Pilgram lady making pie crust
caption reads
I Love pumpkin Pie
3rd pic Pilgrim lady brings out pie to eager pilgrim man sitting caption reads that's big!!
4th pic Pilgrim man bewildered at his broken fork caption reads My fork broke
5 pic Pilgrim man kicks the pie out the door caption reads I hate this pie!
6th pic Pilgrim man laughs at where the pie lands caption reads Look What it did!
I thought the comic was a perfect way to help celebrate Thanksgiving!!
Wishing a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Halloween Costumes
My little ghost
Spider, Dragon, Spiderman and Ghost
The night of Halloween it rained... the kids were sad .. but the rain stopped long enough for them to trick or treat around Grandma & Grandpa Stiles house... of course.. with the excitement of trick or treating and candy.
Pictures came last.. they had a fun evening!

Continue in Patience
After watching this video I was amazed at how profound Elder Uchtdorf's message was about the ability to wait... even it is as simple as getting an extra marshmallow.
I was noticing how we could then internalize this as we look at our own lives and use the marshmallow experiment and apply it to different situations in our lives.
One quote that stuck out to me was " God's promises are not always fulfilled as quickly or in the way we might hope."
I think sometimes we are too eager to wait as most children did and eat the marshmallow right away. I think in time if we are to wait for the second marshmallow or
have patience during those difficult times that we can then receive the answers we are in need of.
